Stealth trade goaltender Croswell to Philadelphia

EVERETT – The Washington Stealth announced Tuesday they have traded goaltender Kevin Croswell to Philadelphia for the Wings' third-round selection in the 2013 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft.

The 6-4, 205-pound Croswell made three appearances for the Stealth in 2012 after signing with the team as a free agent seven games into the season.

With the Stealth, Croswell posted a 1-2 record with a 9.60 goals against average and a .789 save percentage in 149:59 minutes of play.

In his first game with Washington Croswell recorded 41 saves in a 14-9 win at Toronto on March 3, 2012. For his effort, he was named the NLL Defensive Player of the Week.

Prior to coming to the Stealth, Croswell spent a short stint with Edmonton Rush during the 2012 season. He previously played four seasons with the Minnesota Swarm (2008-11).

Croswell is a five-year NLL veteran with a 6-15 overall record, He's appeared in 31 regular-season games with Washington, Edmonton and Minnesota. He has one playoff game appearance with Minnesota.

During his career, Croswell has compiled an 11.24 goals against average and a .776 save percentage.
