The Knights forward scored 24 points and had the assist on the game-winning basket as Kamiak beat rival Mariner. Vicente also had 32 points in a win over Cascade as the Knights improved to 3-0 and remained in a deadlock with Jackson for first place in the Wesco 4A South.

Eagles forward Lindsay Brown (above) had a game-high 18 points, including five 3-pointers, as Arlington beat Lake Stevens to remain unbeaten and in a tie for first place in the Wesco 4A North.

The Panthers 138-pounder won both of his matches in the Panthers’ sweep of the Marysville schools in a double dual meet and placed first to help Snohomish take first place at the Graham Morin Invitational over the weekend.

The Knights swimmer recorded a state-qualifying time of 1 minute, 47.35 seconds to edge out Shorecrest’s Carter Osborne, whose time of 1:47.99 was also a state-qualifying time, in the 200-yard freestyle as Kamiak beat the Scots 92-88.
