The Seahawks played last week without Marcus Trufant and Walter Thurmond because of hamstring injuries, and with the week of practice kicking off Wednesday, Pete Carroll said he still doesn’t know if either will make it back this week. Neither is expected to practice Wednesday, and there’s a good chance a decision won’t be made until the end of the week.
On defensive tackle Alan Branch, who injured an ankle Sunday, Carroll said they are “encouraged we’ve got a chance to get him back.”
Carroll also noted that the move made Tuesday, releasing TE Evan Moore and signing TE Sean McGrath off the practice squad, was made to give the Seahawks help on special teams.
