Update, 12 p.m. Friday: Some, but not all, lanes have been reopened, and traffic is getting through.

LYNNWOOD -- A large stretch of 164th Street SW in Lynnwood was closed Thursday night while crews worked to repair a downed power pole.

A suspected drunken driver crashed into the pole about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.

The man, 31, of Snohomish, and his passenger weren't injured.

The man was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence, she said.

The road was closed between 36th Avenue W and 44th Avenue W, she said. It wasn't expected to re-open until Friday morning at the earliest.
