View Reported stabbing, 12-23-2012 in a larger map Police believe the stabbing happened at a third home across the street, Lamoureux said. On Sunday, detectives were working to get a judge's permission to search the home. The victim, 26, of Marysville, was taken to a local hospital with multiple stab wounds. He was expected to survive. The suspect, 30, of Marysville, was expected to be booked into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree domestic violence assault. "The suspect and victim are related, and this is not a random violent act, and there is no immediate danger to the surrounding neighborhood," Lamoureux said Sunday. "We do not yet know what transpired before the stabbing took place and continue to investigate."
