16th annual Mountlake Terrace holiday hoops tourney this weekend

The 16th annual Mountlake Terrace High School Holiday Tournament starts Friday and showcases some of the best boys basketball teams in our area. Besides the Mountlake Terrace boys team, Snohomish and Arlington are also two local teams in the tournament.

Out of area teams in the tournament include Foster (5-4), Ferndale (4-5), Mark Morris (5-2) and Kelso (5-4).

Here’s the entire schedule (all games at Mountlake Terrace H.S.):

Dec. 28: Ferndale vs. Marysville Pilchuck, 1 p.m.; Arlington vs. Kelso, 3 p.m.; Foster vs. Mark Morris 5 p.m.; Mountlake Terrace vs. Snohomish, 7 p.m.

Dec. 29: Ferndale-MP loser vs. Arlington-Kelso loser, 1 p.m.; Foster-Mark Morris loser vs. MT-Snohomish loser, 3 p.m.; Ferndale-MP winner vs. Arlington-Kelso winner, 5 p.m.; Foster-Mark Morris winner vs. MT-Snohomish winner, 7 p.m.

Entry fee: An entry fee of $75.00-V/$65.00-JV//$65.00-C per team will be charged. Please make check payable to Edmonds School District. Please make payment prior to tournament.

Admission: “Single Day Pass” for all games-$5.00 for seniors/adults/students/children. Covers all 3 tourneys here and at Brier Terrace Middle School (site of freshman tournament). Hand stamp required for re-admittance.

Passes: Northwest District One Supervisory passes only will be accepted.
