LYNNWOOD -- Three small, suspicious fires reported in the Lynnwood area Tuesday night are believed to be related.

Investigators have identified a suspect in the fires, said Leslie Hynes, spokeswoman for Snohomish County Fire District 1.

No injuries were reported, she said.

The fires broke out between about 4:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. in the Cypress Way area, south of Lynnwood.

It's not clear in what order they were set, Hynes said.

One fire was in a garbage bin at a minimart at the intersection of Cypress Way and Larch Way.

One was in a garbage can next to a house in the 20400 block of Cypress Way.

That fire burned a small area of siding and caused about $7,500 damage, Hynes said.

Another fire was reported in a garbage can that was set out by the street in the 1800 block of W. Cypress Way.

The Snohomish County Fire Marshal and Sheriff's offices are investigating.
