KIRKLAND — A 26-year-old transient suspected of raping an 80-year-old woman in October in Kirkland was arrested Wednesday in Redmond.
Police said Moses Kelly was identified through DNA evidence.
KIRO reported that he has a criminal history that includes convictions for assault, criminal trespass and malicious mischief.
In the October assault, police said the attacker followed the woman home, forced his way inside and choked and sexually assaulted her.
