Prep wrestling: Pac Coast Tournament

VANCOUVER -- Four wrestlers from Edmonds-Woodway and two from Lynnwood went undefeated on the first day at the Pac Coast Tournament at Hudson's Bay High School. The Warriors' Gabe Balazar (106 pounds), Nathan Vulliet (138), Matthew Cuzzetto (160) and Marquise Brown (170) all advanced to the quarterfinals in their respective weight classes. Matthew Calkins (138) and Hunter Lord (160) each won twice for the Royals.
Overall, Edmonds-Woodway is tied for 13th with 40 points, while Lynnwood has 27 points and is tied for 24th in the 35-team field.
