Imagine Children’s Museum is holding a Rockin’ New Year’s Eve Party just for kids from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday.
The kids can watch a magician (Master Payne) in action, make a New Year’s-themed collage with artist Mark Fraley, and compete in building a Kapla Block clock tower. A scavenger hunt will take place throughout the evening.
A traditional New Year’s Eve ball drop will take place outside. OK, it’s not counting down to midnight, but it will be midnight somewhere in the world.
DJ Leanna Mason provides kid-friendly tunes and party food will available for purchase.
Tickets in advance are $15 general and $10 for museum members. There will be $5 per person additional charge for tickets at the door.
Buy in advance at www.imaginecm.org or at the front desk, 1502 Wall St., Everett. Call 425-258-1006 for more information.
The museum, which is not usually open Mondays, also will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Special activities include a performance in the Lodge by the African drum troupe Gansango at 1:30 p.m. Daytime admission is $9.
