Kids, parents make Santa's day

Dec. 22 dawned cold and wet. The first hour was slow and Santa and I feared we were to be disappointed. But by 4 p.m., four large bags of toys, four boxes of gingerbread cookies, coffee and spiced cider were gone, and though our toes were cold, our hearts were full and warm. Many past children had visited us with parents, and many new, including new babies to hold and snuggle (before scared} had come. We wish to send lots of Christmas wishes to the community for making Santa and my Christmas special. Santa sees everyone when they're snug as bugs in a rug snuggled asleep in their bed; so holding and talking to them means much to us both. Thank you, God bless everyone, Merry Christmas and a safe New Year.
