Herald Health: Don't let winter win

Sign up for Weekend to-do list
The solstice has passed and the days are now officially getting longer. Not that you can notice, what with the constant dim gray color of the sky. It can all get a bit depressing. But winter doesn't have to be a downer. In fact, it can be a lot of fun, especially if you keep moving.

In this edition of Herald Health, we’re taking a look at an endurance runner who gave herself a 100-mile run for her 40th birthday. She shares some tips to keep running in winter. We also have ideas to keep from getting depressed in the dark days of winter. And we explain why hockey classes for adults are such a huge hit. Happy winter!
