Participants will learn how to make a basic bread dough that can be used in multiple ways, from dinner rolls to cinnamon rolls. Recipes and samples provided.

Angela Davis in Lynnwood: Activist, scholar and two-time communist party vice presidential candidate Angela Davis will be the featured speaker at Lynnwood's annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration Jan. 17.
Davis will speak twice, first at 12:30 p.m. at Edmonds Community College, and again at 6:30 p.m. at the Lynnwood Convention Center. Both events are free and open to the public.
The afternoon event will be held in the Black Box Theatre on the college campus at 20000 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood.
The Lynnwood Convention Center is at 3711 196th St. SW.
Davis is the author of "Women, Race, and Class" (1980) and "Are Prisons Obsolete?" (2003).
