Eagles to interview Seahawks DC Gus Bradley

Earlier this week, Pete Carroll was asked about the possibility of losing assistant coaches now that there are so many head coaching positions available--seven coaches were fired on Monday--and Carroll acknowledged that offensive line coach/assistant head coach Tom Cable, defensive coordinator Gus Bradley and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell could all be attractive options for other teams.

Well according to the official website of the Philadelphia Eagles, Bradley could be a target of the Eagles, who fired Andy Reid on Monday.

The team's website and Twitter account both said the Eagles have received permission from the Seahawks to interview Bradley, though they can't interview him this week.

Here's what Carroll said when asked about that topic on Monday:

“I think on our staff we have some guys that are really worthy of consideration and we’ll see what happens, how it goes. I’ve always been a guy that wants to help our guys get the job that they want and work for them. That’s part of the deal coming here. They come here and I’ll do everything I can to help them go where they can go. It’s always made it hard on me, but it also is a good atmosphere for guys who want to come here too; when you go into the recruiting part of the coaching thing.”
