Local musical favorites in 2012

After receiving some emails and other feedback regarding my best of 2012 list the question I keep getting is “why didn't you do a strictly local best of list?”

That is a fair question. 2012 was a fantastic year for artists from the Puget Sound area and they all deserve credit. So this list is in no particular order and is meant to touch on all my favorite local releases from 2012 (excluding the local releases from my last best of list). Not just full albums but singles and EPs as well.

Enjoy and be sure to go check out these artists when they play in your area.

Deep Sea Diver – History Speaks

Brothers From Another – Taco Tuesday EP

Kris Orlowski and Andrew Joslyn – Pieces We Are

Lemolo – The Kaleidoscope

I Will Keep Your Ghost – Dream Lover Single (free download)

Naomi Wachira – African Girl

Graig Markel – Graig Markel

Lerin Herzer & Andrew Joslyn – The Girl and The Ghost

Tom Eddy – The Bread Maker's Blues

Daydream Vacation - Dare Seize The Fire
