Every day should be Seahawk day
It's bad enough that the nation pretty much focuses on the East Coast and praises the Redskins (RG3 and Morris) already without my local paper doing it. Come on! The Seahawks deserve better than that. Both times major articles were printed about RG3 and Morris, there was only one column for the Seahawks by John Boyle. I enjoy Boyle's articles, but give me more, especially in a time like this when we are in the playoffs. I want to revel in my Seahawks, not the Redskins. What's going on?
I say print articles featuring personal interest stories centered around a Seahawk player, coach, etc, (or a group of them), like how Russell Wilson goes to the Children's Hospital once a week. Whatever! I'm sure you could find stories about the Seahawks that would be much more appropriate to run during the week before the major game, rather than about the competition. I certainly do not like to come home, looking forward to reading the sports pages, only to open the section and see a big center-stage article about a Redskins player.
