The Puget Lobe Chapter of the Ice Age Floods Institute presents a talk on "The Glacial Legacy of Puget Sound: Its Shorelines, Beaches and Bluffs" at 7 p.m. Monday in Edmonds as part of their first meeting of the year.
Coastal geologist Hugh Shipman will discuss the formation of the Puget Sound shoreline by glacial processes and what this means for shorelines, bluffs and beaches today. See Shipman's blog, gravelbeach.com, for more on this topic.
