GOP falls for 'crisis' baloney
They were snookered once again and frankly I'm getting more than a little tired of it. The immediate outcome is taxes have been raised on those making $400,000 or more per year, which will take in an additional $62 billion per year, which will only operate the government for eight days. The good thing is that the Bush tax cuts have been made permanent for the majority of Americans. All spending cuts and increasing the borrowing limit have been delayed again for two months when the real battle will take place. I hope the linguini-spined Republicans in both houses will stand their ground for once, but with the rift that the Democrats created between them, who knows what might happen.
