Happy New Year indeed! With our republic teetering on the so-called "fiscal cliff," President Obama in his wisdom, awards Congress, V.P. Biden and federal workers a pay raise.
The 112th Congress, judged to be the most inefficient since the 1940s, certainly does not deserve to be rewarded. On the contrary, if these people had to work in the private sector, the majority would be terminated for their incompetence.
One can only wonder what the government has in store for the American people in 2013.
