Rogge's game-winner came with the Seagulls down by two with two seconds remaining in the game. Rogge took an in-bounds pass, found an open look at the top of the key and hit the shot to secure the victory for Everett. Rogge finished with a game-high 19 points.
"Rogge was able to find some mismatches (tonight)," said Seagulls assistant coach Blake Haug. "He had a pretty good night."
With Everett up 40-32 at the end of the third quarter, Meadowdale outscored Everett 22-15 in the final quarter to take the late lead. Haug mentioned two other keys in the team's defensive strategy and the play of Steven Tran and David Popach.
"Our focus tonight was to keep (the Mavs) out of the key," said Haug, who described Meadowdale as a "dribble-drive" team. "In the second half Tran had two big 3s and Popach got us out of a slump."
Tran and Popach would finish with 11 points each.
The Mavs were led offensively by Charlie White's 14 points in the loss.
