Patrick Dempsey accused of unfair use of charm
Good-looking guys get all the breaks.
That appears to be Starbucks' argument after it lost to actor Patrick Dempsey in the Tully's bankruptcy auction, The Wall Street Journal reports. Auctioneers supposedly gazed into McDreamy's eyes and concluded that his $9.1 million was worth more than the mermaid and her $10.5 million.
The "Grey's Anatomy" star would keep the chain running, give coffee drinkers an alternative to Starbucks and save 480 jobs. It's hard not to cheer for him if he's using his charm for something good. Let's not think about the harm he could do if he used it for evil.
