EVERETT — Local roads and sidewalks could stay icy through Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Seattle.
People should be especially careful driving at night, on bridges and in areas with shade, officials said. Patches of freezing fog also are expected to limit sight distance, especially at night and in the early morning.
The weekend will be cold, the Weather Service said. Saturday in the lowlands could see flurries of snow, although it isn’t expected to stick.
No serious ice-related collisions were reported in Snohomish County on Friday morning.
