Here's what Inslee's top staff will earn

Gov-elect Jay Inslee's first batch of hires will receive salaries commensurate with the earnings of those whom they will succeed.

Mary Alice Heuschel, his chief of staff, will be the highest paid of his senior staff at $166,000 annually. That figure is the total after calculating in a 3 percent salary reduction mandated in the last budget cycle, according to a spokeswoman for Inslee's transition team.
