Respecting others part of prevention

The gun violence that occurs is not a problem that can be taken care of by gun control alone.
The other half of that problem is the fact that people need to treat other people and their children with more care and concern.
I can't make a definite statement that all gun violence is from people who have been treated badly, but I bet a big majority of violent behavior is a result of somebody who is acting out of anger because they feel they been mistreated or abused.
To treat people like you would also like to be treated is one small way that helps a lot of situations.
