DAYTON — A Dayton man pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree murder in the shooting death of his wife.
Joseph Shuba, 59, faces about 15 years in prison when he is sentenced in Columbia County Superior Court.
If a first-degree murder case had gone to trial, Shuba’s lawyer told the Union-Bulletin that he would have argued the shooting of Suzanne Shuba last April was self-defense.
