Jazz combo to perform at Camano Crab Fest

  • Submitted photo

It's all about seafood and music at Camano Island's Crab Fest. A $20 ticket buys you a whole Dungeness crab, side dishes, dessert and a night full of music by Swingnuts Jazz. The band will perform swing, Brazilian and jazz songs from the 1920s to the 1950s and some originals. The event is a fundraiser for the Camano Center at 606 Arrowhead Drive. For more information, call 360-387-0222. To learn more about the band, go to www.swingnutsjazz.com. Above, the Swingnuts are (from left) Mark Dodge, Andy Carr, Peggy Wendel, Philip Nakano and Peter Smith.
