Pedal pusher: Oprah Winfrey’s interview with controversial cyclist Lance Armstrong, who nibbled around the edges of a full confession that he used performance-enhancing drugs to win cycling titles and medals, drew a total of 4.3 million viewers Thursday night on Oprah’s OWN cable network. The interview, the second part of which aired Friday night, was a boost for OWN, which has struggled to attract viewers.
Competitors on ESPN, Fox, CNN and others immediately criticized OWN for using a ratings-enhancing drug user to win its time slot.

I’m Ben; Fly me: Officials at San Diego’s Lindberg Field airport are responding to a rat problem after airport workers reported seeing several in terminal halls, shops and a restaurant.
Screeners with the Transportation Security Administration said they had seen the rats, too, but let them go because they weren’t carrying gels or liquids and had taken off their shoes.
