2 bodies found in car pulled from Snohomish River

SNOHOMISH -- A missing Snohomish-area couple apparently was found dead Wednesday in a car pulled from the Snohomish River.

The Snohomish County sheriff's dive team was called to recover a vehicle spotted in the river near the 6600 block of Riverview Road, spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

Two bodies were found inside the red 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage. The Mitsubishi is believed to be the same car in which Jason J. Dolman, 31, and Riza P. Ysulat, 36, were traveling, Ireton said.

The couple was last seen Jan. 8.

The Medical Examiner's Office will confirm their identities and determine cause of death, Ireton said.

"At this point, why the vehicle left the roadway is unknown," she said. "It will take some time for investigators to put the pieces together."

Neither Dolman nor Ysulat has shown up to work in recent days, and they weren't answering phone calls from friends and family.

The sheriff's office on Tuesday issued an alert asking for help in locating the couple.
