RICHLAND — The Richland School Board has fired Superintendent Jim Busey, who was accused of having an affair with a district staff member.
The board decided Tuesday that Busey can no longer be an effective superintendent in Richland.
KVEW reported that Busey is accused of violating a morals clause in his contract.
In a statement provided Wednesday to KNDU, Busey said, “All options are being considered personally and professionally and will be determined by my attorneys.”
