UTSA edges Seattle 78-75

SEATTLE -- Michael Hale III scored a career-high 35 points including a 16 for 17 effort from the free-throw line and UTSA beat Seattle 78-75 on Thursday night.
Hale hit a pair of free throws to put UTSA (1-7 league, 5-13 overall) up 76-69 with 34 seconds remaining in the game to seal the deal.
Deshau Sunderhaus scored 16 points and five rebounds to lead Seattle (1-7, 6-12).
Women
UTSA 65, Seattle 55
SAN ANTONIO -- Kacie Sowell scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Seattle, but the Redhawks dropped their first Western Athletic Conference game of the season.
Seattle (7-1 league, 10-7 overall) committed 26 turnovers in the game.
Whitney Wright led the University of Texas-San Antonio (5-3, 11-8) with 12 points.
