Kenneth Young was a new full-time state examiner in Snohomish County. Young, who was working out of the Everett Courthouse, had been doing the same kind of work in Chelan, Douglas and Grant counties.
Grand opening of McDonough's TV Service in its new location in the B&M Shopping Center was taking place today and tomorrow, said Jim A. McDonough, owner. It had moved after five years on Beach. Staff members included Mary McDonough, Midge McDonough, Marian Horseman, Jim Kemp and Jim Hetland.

Jay Bell and Larry Brautner, formerly of Everett, were promoted to regional manager in the expanded Northwest Division of Schuck's Auto Supply. Bell now managed the Western Division that included 75 stores in Western Washington and Oregon. Brautner managed stores in Eastern Washington, Montana, southeast Idaho and Utah.
Others with new positions were Curtis J. Hammond, formerly of Marysville, who was now vice president and branch manager of the Tacoma Dean Witter office, and Harold Glass of Edmonds who was promoted to manager of the Broadway Safeway store in Everett.
