The Everett Youth Hockey Booster Club will hold a benefit and social at 5 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center located at Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett.
This family-focused event calls for casual attire and will include kid-friendly favorites like hamburgers, hot dogs and knee hockey in addition to an auction, raffles, a wine frenzy and other fundraising activities.
Last year's dinner and auction raised more than $17,000 for the booster club. The booster club provides scholarships to young hockey players who otherwise could not afford to play the game, as well as discounted passes to Silvertips goalie camps. They also buy pucks.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 ages 12 and under, or $60 for a family of four. Price includes an all-you-can-eat hamburger, hot dog and pizza buffet, five raffle tickets and a door prize ticket.
