Boeing

Strike a nice break for some

Your article, "Strike would be costly for Boeing and SPEEA," asked who knows the employees better, the company or the union? The union, of course. The union knows that the engineers love paid vacation days that don't count against their vacation days. When the strike starts, and it will start, go up to Stevens Pass Ski area.
They have good snow. Almost every car there will have a Boeing parking sticker on it. Go to Mount Baker ski area. Go to any nearby vacation/entertainment area, you will find the Boeing cars. The strike will drag on with the pretense of negotiations going on. It will end when the spouses are sick of having their "on strike" spouse around all the time. So let's go, SPEEA. Get the strike started. The area needs your vacation dollars to stimulate the economy. Just don't pretend it is all about the contract.
