Porn star Ron Jeremy in critical condition

LOS ANGELES—Ron Jeremy, one of the most famous names in pornography, is reportedly in critical condition at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering an aneurysm near his heart.
“Please keep Ron in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery,” his management team said via Twitter on Wednesday.
The 59-year-old adult-film star suffered severe chest pains Tuesday afternoon, TMZ first reported, and drove himself to the hospital, where the aneurysm was discovered.
His condition worsened and he was moved to the intensive-care unit, where he was being prepped for emergency surgery.
“This has been a very difficult morning,” his manager, Mike Esterman, told E! News.
Jeremy has done more than 2,000 adult films, and though he’s done some mainstream work in recent years, he told AskMen last year, “As long as the penis works, I’ll do porn — ’cause it’s fun, it pays and I still like it.”
A query to Jeremy’s manager was not immediately returned.
