LYNNWOOD — A Marysville man was killed in a rollover crash about 2:15 a.m. Thursday in Lynnwood on a ramp from I-5 to I-405.

The driver was identified as Vernon C. Strand, 42.

Strand was in a 2002 pickup and was southbound on I-5. His truck drifted off the roadway onto the grass shoulder of the offramp to I-405 and rolled over, the Washington State Patrol reported. He died at the scene, troopers said.

Parts of the road were closed for hours Thursday while troopers investigated. The road re-opened about 5 a.m.
