Everett vs. Kamloops: lineup notes, Tips short

EVERETT

Forward lines:
Harrison-Petryk-Mappin
Leedahl-Hayer-Aasman
Skapski-Stadnyk-Soumelidis
Low

Defensive pairings:
Cox-Mueller
Betker-Oslanski
Zipp-MacDonald

Starting goalie:
Cotton

Scratches: Nikkel, Sandhu, Bauml, Grayson, Winquist, Murray, Adam, Lotz.

Notes: It just keeps getting worse for the Tips. Two more players join the scratch list as center Kohl Bauml is out sick and winger Tyler Sandhu is out after taking a check from behind during Friday night's game. They join goaltender Austin Lotz (ankle), defensemen Austin Adam (concussion) and Ayrton Nikkel (finger), and forwards Joshua Winquist (upper body) and Lucas Grayson (lower body) in the stands. With defenseman Ryan Murray (shoulder) also gone for the remainder of the season, Everett skates two players short, and all the lines are out of whack.

KAMLOOPS

Forward lines:
Kessy-Smith-Bozon
Ully-Willick-Souto
Friesen-Ranford-Lipon
Macklin-Kornelsen-Connolly

Defensive pairings:
Hrbas-Cross
Grist-Hanson
Thomson-Rehill

Starting goalie:
Cheveldave

Scratches: Edmundson, Needham, Sterzer.

Notes: Kamloops is without key defenseman Joel Edmundson, who's serving a four-game suspension for a checking-to-the-head major penalty taken against Portland on Wednesday. Centers Matt Needham (upper body) and Aspen Sterzer (upper body) are out injured.
