Washington women defeat Arizona State 74-61

TEMPE, Ariz. — Talia Walton had 26 points and nine rebounds and Washington won its sixth in a row, defeating Arizona State 74-61.

Jazmine Davis had 16 points and seven assists for the Huskies (16-5, 8-2 Pac-12), Kristi Kingma scored 14 points and Mercedes Wetmore had 11 points.

Walton had six of the Huskies' 15 3-pointers that helped them overcome the Sun Devils' 55-29 rebounding advantage.

Washington trailed 37-29 early in the second half, but a 15-2 run put the Huskies ahead to stay. The biggest lead was the final score.

Janae Fulcher led Arizona State (11-11, 3-7) with 21 points. Promise Amukamara had 11 points and nine rebounds for the Sun Devils.
