National Letter of Intent day signings

    Fourteen Glacier Peak student-athletes signed Letters of Intent on Wednesday, including Sean Elledge (football, Central Washington), Katie Bianchini (cross country, Lipscomb), Amy-Eloise Neale (cross country/track, University of Washington), Bailey Anderson (girls soccer, Boise State) and Kyle Bjornethun (boy soccer, Seattle University).

It's a big day for local athletes who are signing Letters of Intent to play their respective sports at colleges around the country. Below is a list of the athletes signing today. • Archbishop Murphy girls soccer player Shelby Koch, who was a first-team All-Area selection, signed a Letter of Intent to a play women's soccer at Loyola University in Chicago.

• In Provo, Utah, former King's quarterback Billy Green signed his Letter of Intent to play for Brigham Young University. Green has been enrolled at BYU for more than a month and is already preparing for the 2013 season.

• Stanwood twin brothers Kyle and Brian O'Donnell both signed their Letters of Intent to play football for Central Washington on Wednesday.

• Lakewood do-everything football star Justin Peterson signed his Letter of Intent to play for Central Washington on Wednesday.

• King's lineman Mason Friedline signed to play football with Yale next season.

• Glacier Peak softball player Alexis Michael signed her Letter of Intent to play for Linfield.

• Two of the best cross country runners in Snohomish County history, Glacier Peak's Amy-Eloise Neale and Katie Bianchini, signed their Letters of Intent on Wednesday. Bianchini will be heading to Lipscomb University while Neale stays home to attend University of Washington.

• Local football players sign with Central Washington, including Glacier Peak's Sean Elledge, Edmonds-Woodway's Desmond Young, Stanwood brother Kyle and Brian O'Donnell and Lakewood's Justin Peterson (pictured above). Mountlake Terrace's Mason Stone will be signing with Idaho in June.

• Edmonds-Woodway's Desmond Young signed his Letter of Intent to play for Central Washington earlier today.

• Edmonds-Woodway signing ceremony, including softball player Cassady Orstad (Olympic College) and football players Desmond Young (Central Washington) and Matt Cuzzetto (Southern Oregon University).

• Everett girls soccer players Rosie Sittauer (Seattle U.), Haley Ayers (Seattle Pacific) and Bailey McMullen (Central Washington) signed Letters of Intent on Wednesday.

• Lynnwood's Andrew Basham signed his Letter of Intent with the University of Washington.

• Kamiak's Emma Makela signs her Letter of Intent to play women's soccer for the University of Texas-San Antonio on Wednesday.

• Granite Falls' Courtney Young signs her Letter of Intent to play women's soccer at Eastern Washington University next season.

• Glacier Peak's Sean Elledge signed his Letter of Intent to play football at Central Washington on Wednesday.

• Cascade's Denae Weigelt, Sarah Jenkins, Rachel Detroit, Hannah Dowdell and Emily Nelson all signed LOIs on Wednesday.

• Glacier Peak's Bailey Anderson signed her Letter of Intent to play soccer for Boise State bright and early Wednesday morning.

• Lake Stevens boys soccer player James Tanner signed with Metropolitan State University of Denver on Wednesday morning

• Lake Stevens track and field athletes signed his LOI with the University of Washington.
