It's not all hearts and truffles.

Chocolate Santas join the bounty of offerings at this event geared for Valentine's Day.

The shops at Country Village will hold their second annual chocolate tasting from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday.

More than a dozen merchants will feature samples of their favorite chocolates and treats. Santa figurine artist Dennis Brown will make chocolate Santas.

Other offerings include gluten-free chocolate tortes, chocolate bites, triple chocolate brownies, healthy chocolates, M&M variety tasting and raspberry cordials.

There will also be drumming and belly dance classes.

For more information, go to www.countryvillagebothell.com or call 425-483-2250.

For Valentine's Day, nothing says loving like something from the wine cellar ... especially when paired with chocolate.

And it's for a good cause.

The Taste of Wine and Chocolate benefits Healing the Children, a nonprofit that donates medical care to children worldwide.

The Valentine's Day event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at SoJen Cellars, 2818 Hewitt Ave.

Theo's Chocolate will provide the chocolate for the pairings and Kathy Little and Joyce Bechtel will cater hors d'oeuvres.

The event will feature jazz with Leah Stilwell and a silent auction of Valentine gifts.

A cooler filled with 24 bottles of wine will be raffled.

Tickets are $30.

For more information, see www.htcorwwa.org or call 425-290-9300.
