Seattle Home Show plans a 'House Party'

Sign up for Weekend to-do list
The Seattle Home Show begins Feb. 16 and runs through Feb. 24.

The theme this year is "We're Having a House Party" and features model homes, a wine tasting and outdoor living garden, a "Made in America" section, home improvement seminars and Dr. Lori of the Discovery Channel's "Auction Kings."

Bring a swimsuit and take the plunge for Habitat for Humanity. SwimSpa is inviting the public to take part in a benefit swim.

The Seattle Home Show is to be held at CenturyLink Field Event Center. Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for ages 60 and older, $3 for ages 7 to 15, and free for kids younger than 7.

E-tickets are available for purchase online at www.SeattleHomeShow.com and include free parking in the Clink garage and north lot, and Safeco Field's garage. Vehicles carrying four or more people can park free in designated lots.

Show visitors who can't take it all in can return another day for free.
