Prep basketball: Shoreline Christian 60, Grace Academy 37

MOUNT VERNON -- Shoreline Christian beat Grace Academy to secure 3rd place in the 1B District Girls Basketball Tournament. The Crusaders' Sarah Ott led scoring with 23. Shoreline Christian also got strong performances from Kari Holly, who put up 14, and Bella Hermesch who had 10. Naomi Tuttle paced the Eagles with 19. The loss means 4th place in the tournament for Grace Academy. Both teams advance to the Tri-District Tournament which starts Saturday. Shoreline Christian will host Northwest Yeshiva, while Grace Academy travels to Evergreen Lutheran. Both games start at 7 p.m.
