The Stillaguamish Valley Genealogical Society plans to host a presentation by Lynne Bridges about the Arlington Cemetery database.
The presentation is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Arlington Free Methodist Church.
Bridges worked for the city of Arlington and assembled a database of burials in the cemetery.
This free presentation is for anyone interested in local history or genealogy.

Everett: Casino Road safety improvements
Horizon Elementary School students stand to benefit from safety improvements on Casino Road, following a City Council vote Wednesday night.
The city is using $426,000 in state grant money for the work, which includes overhead speed-zone signs, traffic cameras and handicap-accessible ramps. The project focuses on the intersection of Casino Road and Fifth Avenue W.
Construction is expected to start this spring and finish in late summer, city spokeswoman Kate Reardon said.
As part of the safety plan, community groups hope to develop educational materials and Everett police to patrol the area during the school year with an emphasis on speeding violations.
The City Council by a 5-0 vote on Wednesday authorized going out to bid.
Gold Bar: Second council vacancy opens
City Councilwoman Elizabeth LaZella resigned from her position Tuesday, citing the need to seek training for a new career.
LaZella, a retired respiratory therapist, was appointed to the job in June to fill out former Councilman Charles Lie's term through 2013. The County Council made the appointment after Gold Bar had trouble attracting applicants.
LaZella's departure leaves the five-member City Council with two openings. The other was created when former Councilman Chris Wright resigned in September. Mayor Joe Beavers said the city expects to fill that seat with a qualified applicant by the end of the month.
Any Gold Bar residents interested in serving on the City Council are encouraged to mail or deliver a letter of interest to: Gold Bar, attention Mayor Joe Beavers, 107 Fifth St., Gold Bar, 98251.
Letters also can be emailed to Mayor Joe Beavers at
