Body found in Bothell; death deemed suspicious

BOTHELL -- Police are investigating a suspicious death in Bothell after finding a body at a home Tuesday morning.

They were called about 10:30 a.m. and asked to check on a resident who lived in the 200 block of 240th Street SW, Bothell police Capt. Denise Langford said. The person had not shown up for work.

Officers found the body at the house and called detectives, she said.

Police aren't releasing the deceased's gender, age or other details.

"We're still in the early stages of the investigation," Sgt. Cedric Collins said.

Officials with the county Medical Examiner's office also were called to the scene, he said.
