Seems Like Yesterday

50 years ago (1963)



Angela Marie, Debra Ann, Sandra Irene, Lora Lee and Brenda Lynn, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Al Pioli, West Casino Road, finally had a little brother. Their mother gave birth to Matthew Louis on Jan. 24. The proud father was passing out cigars with blue bands.

25 years ago (1988)

The 27th annual Lenten Luncheon Series, sponsored by the Greater Everett Ministerium and the Snohomish County YMCA, was beginning next week with the first of six lunches and guest speakers, concluding April 1 with a Good Friday worship service at Central Lutheran Church.

Victors restaurant at 2821 Pacific Ave. promised Valentine memories made to order. Combo dinners included New York steaks, salmon, prime rib, deep fried prawns and lobsters. The Chateaubriand dinner for two for $59.95 included a bottle of Mumms champagne.
