LAKE STEVENS -- Police in Lake Stevens have released a sketch and surveillance video images of a man suspected in Saturday's robbery of Yumiko Teriyaki at Frontier Village.

The man allegedly entered the restaurant about 7:50 p.m., aimed a semi-automatic pistol at an employee and demanded money, according to police.

When the employee hesitated, the robber fired two shots into a nearby partition. He then ran away southbound with the cash. No one was hurt.

No similar incidents have been reported in Lake Stevens, detective Jerad Wachtveitl said Wednesday. Police obtained surveillance footage showing the man in the area around the time of the robbery, he said.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late teens or early 20s. He is about 5-foot-6 and has a thin build and some facial hair. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a skull cap and black jeans. He also wore white-and-black athletic shoes.

Anyone with information should call 425-334-9537.
