Demand answers about fire service
The current fire department staffing model provides less than the citizens need and are ultimately paying for. I am disappointed the mayor and fire chief have chosen on their own to make these cutbacks which could have serious consequences and may indeed impact patient outcomes. Many citizens are unaware their service has been cut and are likely to find out at a very inconvenient moment, the very moment they have to call 911.
The letter writer stated he hates being lied to. I don't like being lied to either, and don't like paying for something I am not getting.
I suggest concerned citizens attend city council meetings or call a city council person and ask why or how this can happen.
