BOISE, Idaho -- A 39-year-old Boise man has denied federal charges that he produced child pornography and posted a Craigslist ad offering a 3-year-old for sex.
Jason Schaber pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of using interstate commerce for sex trafficking of a child, six counts of producing child pornography, 16 counts of distributing child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.
Schaber had been arrested on state charges last May, a month after someone reported seeing the Craigslist ad. The federal indictment was returned last week and Ada County dismissed the state charges.
The U.S. Attorney's Office said Schaber faces trial on April 23 in Boise before U.S. District Judge Edward Lodge.
