'Fix' for listing is not a good one

So someone complained about the new ferries listing a little when they were empty. Then someone with the state came up with a "fix" of counterloading the high side, with how many tons of weight, to compensate. I'm no engineer, but wont that make the boat list the other way when loaded? I worked on two of the boats and rode one during sea trials. The turns they are put through are very tight and the boat worked great. Also, if fuel is one of the big issues, you are going to use more pushing the added weight. Not to mention more wear and tear.

The Buzz should find out which moron made the call and print it in the paper, so I'll know who not to vote for next time.
