Everett Public Library offering home-improvement classes

Sign up for Weekend to-do list
March is fix-up month at the Everett Public Library.

The library is offering three free classes to help with home improvement decisions on three Saturdays in March.

March 2, 2 to 3 p.m.: A builder, a feng shui consultant and a cabinetmaker launch the first panel discussion to help you get started.

March 23, 2 to 3 p.m.: A panel of green builders and a mortgage lender discuss "Upgrading your Castle," offering ways to improve your inefficient, high-maintenance house.

March 30, 2 to 4 p.m.: Green builders and energy consultants will discuss "Green Energy Choices," and show ways to employ solar and geothernal energy solutions.
