Prep boys basketball: King's 57, Kalama 48
Caleb Taylor of King's dives in to tip a ball away from Josh Wall of Kalama in the fourth quarter of the Knights' 1-A Boys Regional victory in Chehalis on Saturday.
Andrew Ayers (0) of King's slips the ball to teammate David Barhanovich as Kalama's Tanner Vossen dives over the play in the third period of the Knights' 1A Boys Regional victory over the Chinooks Saturday in Chehalis.
"Defensively, Wall was the MVP of their league and so holding him to three points was really big for us tonight," said Knights head coach Rick Skeen.
When asked how they did it, Skeen replied, "David Barhanovich is how we did it."
Caleb Taylor and Calvin Kispert led on offense for Kings with 14 and 13 points, repsectively, and Kispert led the Knights with eight rebounds.
